Alinas was established in the 70s in Bukit Mertajam - Seberang Perai, Penang, Malaysia. It started with a business of weaving cloth and selling goods, decoration, room equipment, and interior decoration of houses for formal ceremonies. In the 80s, Alinas moved to Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman in Kuala Lumpur. In 1993, Alinas re-established its business at Lot 55 with more collections and more products. And finally in 2005, Alinas moved to 229 Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman, right across SOGO Department Store.
